Introduction
Duration : The certificate course in teaching punjabi is conducted in six modules. Each module is over six months,
with a two day compulsory contact workshop in the beginning.
Components : The programme has two major components - the proficiency component and the pedagogic component.
Approach : To provide adequate support to upgrade the participants' owm linguistic competence as they
explore contemporary punjabi language teaching (CPLT) methodology.
Objective : Having acquired the basic knowledge and skills of CPLT, participants will be able to teach
punjabi language confidently in the classroom.
